

While these new Necromancer Runewords likely won't shake up the meta too much, they should still provide some alternatives for some rather expensive mandatory items for certain Necromancer builds. This means better gameplay opportunities for one of Diablo 2's most accessible classes. As such, Diablo 2 Necromancer Runewords just received more variety. The best part is that some of these Runewords fit well for the Necromancer. Turn your foes into allies using the forbidden powers of the Sword of the Necromancer and help the rogue Tama reach the dungeon’s depths in order to gain enough power to bring her. Along with the league, the game's recent updates have added additional Runewords for players to explore. Sword of the Necromancer is a dungeon-crawler action-RPG with roguelike elements where you can revive your defeated enemies to make them fight alongside you.

Updated June 14, 2022, by Sid Natividad: Now that Diablo 2: Resurrected has an ongoing league (at least it does at the time of writing), there's more content to be had. Thankfully, the Necromancer's not too picky with his equipment. So in order to prepare one's Necromancer for the worst, some fitting Runewords are in order. Even though this roguelike Spanish RPG isn’t above average, it does a great and welcome job. It includes a queer love story, a simple but engaging battle system, and a decent array of monsters and items. Diablo and his brothers will still lay waste to anyone foolhardy enough to come at them unprepared. Sword of the Necromancer invites players to attempt a resurrection quest, enabling them to bring back foes to fight as allies in the process. That doesn't mean players can slack off in their Necromancer builds in Diablo 2.
